POWER OF CHANGE

What is the Power of Change Course?

‘Power of Change’ is a women only programme run specifically for survivors of domestic abuse and is based on the idea that women working together in a safe, friendly and non-judgemental environment can change their lives for the better. The formal programme is a psycho-educational group, which runs weekly for 2 hours over a period of 10 – 12 weeks. There is a maximum of 12 women per group.

- Survivors who want to build confidence, self esteem and a new future

  • Recognising controlling behaviours 
  • Why is it so hard to leave?
  • Building confidence and self worth
  • Healthy relationships and boundaries
  • Coping strategies and emotional wellbeing
  • Rights, choices and empowerment
  • Moving forward and building a safe future
